  Poor customer service! Popped into the shop to enquire about upgrading my Orange contract to an EE sim-only 10 GB contract which was advertised for £25.99 online. I was advised by three customer service teams that this was only for new customers and I would have to pay £28.99. They did not say anything that if I went online I would get it at the discounted price and when I mentioned about online they were adamant that I had misread the offer. They said they could terminate my contact with Orange and set-up a new one with EE but I would lose my existing mobile number and advised the only way to keep my number going down that road was to transfer my number to another mobile network on pay as you go and transfer to the new EE contract, which would be a long winded way. I told them that I would look online again. They were still adamant that i would be paying the full amount even online. Before I left they passed a sly remark saying EE is the only network with 4G in North Wales. Since calling Orange about the offer, they confirmed it is only an online offer. I have logged a complaint with them about this store trying to mislead its customer. I don't like being lied to! The best advice is, if you need to enquire about EE products and services then its better to call the sales/customer services team then go to a shop where the customer assistants don't know what the hell they are talking about!
